Terms of Service

Welcome to TeleNorth (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our IPTV subscription service at https://telenorth.ca (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service description

TeleNorth provides a subscription-based IPTV streaming service delivering live television channels, video-on-demand content and electronic programme guide (EPG) data over the internet. Access is provided through the IBO Player application on a single authorised device per subscription.

2. Account registration

• You must provide accurate, complete and current information when ordering.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in Canada, to hold an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Subscription plans and payment

TeleNorth offers the following subscription terms. Full details are published on the pricing page.

• All prices are quoted and charged in Canadian dollars.
• Subscriptions are activated once payment is confirmed and the line has been tested.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment partner. TeleNorth does not store payment card details.
• Subscriptions do not auto-renew. Access ends when the paid term expires unless you choose to extend.

4. Refunds

All sales are final once an account has been activated. Because the Service grants immediate access to digital content:

• No refunds are issued after account activation.
• Exceptions apply only to (a) a verified service outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours, for which a pro-rata credit may be issued, or (b) a confirmed duplicate charge, which is refunded in full.
• Requests must be submitted to [email protected] within 7 days of the qualifying event.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial viewing. You must NOT:

• Share, resell, redistribute or sublicense your credentials to any third party.
• Use the Service to broadcast, publicly display or re-stream content.
• Attempt to circumvent access controls, DRM protections or authentication systems.
• Use automated tools, bots or scrapers against the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that breaches applicable law in Canada or elsewhere.
• Access content in regions where such access is prohibited.

Violation results in immediate termination without refund. Businesses wishing to resell legitimately should apply to the reseller programme.

6. Device limitation

Each subscription permits access on one (1) device at a time. Concurrent streaming on multiple devices is not permitted. The Service is compatible exclusively with the IBO Player application; TeleNorth does not provide support for third-party applications. Installation instructions are published in our setup guide.

7. Service availability

TeleNorth maintains a measured uptime of 99.9%, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, unplanned technical issues, third-party content provider disruptions or force majeure events. TeleNorth is not liable for interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual property

All content delivered through the Service — live channels, video on demand, logos and EPG data — remains the property of its respective owners and licensors. TeleNorth does not claim ownership of third-party content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view content for personal use only.

The TeleNorth name, logo and website design are our property and may not be used without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our privacy policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, without prior notice and without refund. You may cancel at any time by writing to [email protected]; access continues until the end of the paid period.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TELENORTH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Canada.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted at https://telenorth.ca/terms.html with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
